Who is responsible
Applied AI Score is operated by SYSTEMSSOLUTION INC., operating as Applied AI Score, Plaza II – 350 Rutherford Rd S, Unit 104, Brampton, ON L6W 4N6, Canada, phone +1 (647) 772-7535. For any privacy question or request, email support@appliedaiscore.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your first name, email address, job role and a securely hashed password (we never store your password itself).
- Assessment answers and scores: answers and results from the assessments you take while signed in, including career assessments.
- Quick AI Skills Score: your three answers are used to calculate your score and kept in your browser session. We record that a quick score was completed, with the score and level, but not who you are unless you are signed in.
- Course records: module progress, activity checklists, quiz answers and scores, your final project evidence log and self-assessment, your attestation, and your certificate (including the name you choose to print on it).
- Purchase records: the full name you enter at checkout, the date, the amount, and the Stripe payment reference. Stripe processes card details; we never see or store your full card number.
- Optional email sign-up: if you choose to enter your email address on the quick score result page and tick the consent box, we record your email address, your consent, the date, that you signed up from the quick score, and your quick score level.
- Support messages: what you send us by email.
- Technical and security information: our hosting servers keep standard request logs, which include IP addresses. Some features store an IP address or a one-way hash of it to prevent abuse, for example password-reset requests.
- Usage events: a first-party record of steps such as viewing a page, starting or finishing the quick score, and starting checkout, used to understand how the site is used. These events contain no advertising identifiers.
Cookies and tracking
We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects our forms. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies or scripts on this site.
Marketing emails
We only send tips and course news if you have ticked the consent box. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw consent by emailing support@appliedaiscore.com. Your email sign-up is sent directly from your browser to Klaviyo, our email service provider, only when you submit the form; no Klaviyo script or cookie is loaded on our pages. Service emails, such as password resets and your purchase agreement, are sent from our own mail server.
How we use it
To run your account, calculate and show your scores, deliver the course and certificates, process purchases and refunds, send service emails (such as password resets and your purchase agreement), answer support requests, keep the site secure, and understand which parts of the site work. We do not sell your information. We do not use your answers or projects to train AI models, and we do not use them for unrelated marketing. We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in.
How scores are calculated
Scores are calculated automatically by fixed rules: each answer carries set points, and the total is converted to a score out of 100 and a level. No person reviews your answers and no AI model grades them. A score is an internal assessment with real limits, especially the three-question quick score, and it is not a certification or an employer assessment.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments.
- Klaviyo stores email sign-ups and sends marketing emails to people who have consented.
- Our hosting provider (Namecheap) hosts the site, database and our outgoing email server.
- Certificate verification: someone who has both your certificate number and your private verification code can confirm the name, course, issue date and status of your certificate. There is no public directory and no search by name.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Our servers and some of our providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States, so your information may be processed there and be subject to the laws of those countries.
How long we keep it
We keep account, assessment and course records while your account is open, and purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Password-reset links expire after 30 minutes. We do not yet delete other records automatically; you can ask us to delete your account at any time. If your account is deleted, a certificate you were issued may be kept so that it can still be verified, and you can ask us to disable its verification instead.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@appliedaiscore.com from the address on your account. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How we protect it
Passwords are hashed, database access uses prepared statements, forms are protected against cross-site request forgery, payment confirmations are verified with Stripe's signatures, and private configuration is stored outside the public website.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
